This is a map I drew while flying to and from Florida. The initial work was done with a rollerball pen on paper, then scanned, touched up, and heavily worked over in photoshop it is more digital than traditional at this point.
As for the subject itself. Hog's Nuts is a medium-sized town in a fantasy RPG I am in the process of organizing. It was founded by a Half-Orc by the name of Haaghz, and in so being was called, "Haaghz'naatz," or Haaghz's Town in the Common Tongue. But as years went by, the town's names devolved from the original Orcish to a bastardized version portraying the testicles of a porcine. As a crossroads town, Hog's Nuts has a wide myriad of commodities but little specialization in any. Its chief commodities are traveler services such as outfitting and lodging.
Due to the immensity of the file, the full view is considerably smaller, you may download the full sized file if you wish.
If you use this map in a game and name/flesh out any of the buildings, I would be happy to include that data in a possible, future rendition of the map with full legend.
Wahhh (browsing your gallery) Your mapping is really good ;w;~~ May I use this to reference in my future comic? I'll make sure to credit you when I get to it! >w<~!♥

I would be most appreciative if anyone would care to look over and comment my art. Which is kind of a passive-aggressive way of saying, "Look at my art! Go! Go there now! I need attention!" (;^_^)

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
